Explanation:
One of the advantages of being a cat is that you get to eat whatever drops on the floor, since the people won't eat it. According to folklore, the cat has nine gifts:
Thievery, fighting and force,
Silent footfall and screeching,
Night vision,
Interest, bossiness,
and the housewife's mistake.
